On *Wednesday, June 23, 2010,* Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP), DLA Piper, Interpublic Group and IW Group will convene a full-day symposium on issues impacting the world of nonprofit organizations. The event will focus on market trends and the myriad of issues impacting the world of private foundations, as well as tools for nonprofit leaders to build their brands, improve their marketing, utilize social and media resources, find new funding sources, and keep more of what is raised. The Asian/Pacific Islander American nonprofit community will have a rare opportunity to meet corporate and foundation leaders from a plethora of industries and issue areas, including finance, banking, insurance, retail, communications, social media and more. Special guests include corporate and agency leaders from Comcast, Macy’s, Powell Tate, Southern California Edison, State Farm, The Coca-Cola Company, Walmart Stores and more. These corporate and foundation leaders will provide their perspectives on how the greater APIA nonprofit community will benefit from more targeted marketing, branding, prospecting and media relations. *This is a free event.* Seating will be limited to 100 people. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please hold this date and forward this email to any colleagues or friends who may be interested in attending.
