The mission of Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans of Virginia (CAPAVA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is to have an organized voice throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans of Virginia aims to:

	Promote active participation of Asian & Pacific Americans in the policy arena and support community organizing efforts
	Support and defend equal rights and opportunities for all Asian & Pacific Americans
	Promote economic development and self sufficiency for Asian & Pacific Americans
	Eliminate prejudice, stereotype and profiling against Asian & Pacific Americans
